Prior to completing the online application, please ensure that you meet the following prerequisites:
Home Health Aide
- High School Diploma or GED
- First Aid Certification
- Home Health Aide certificate or STNA license
- You must also possess at least 1 year work experience as a HHA or STNA in a supervised setting (ie. home health agency, nursing home, assisted living, hospice) within last 24 months OR have received your HHA Certification or STNA License within the last 6 months
PLEASE NOTE: If you meet the above pre-qualifications, you are eligible to apply for a Home Health Aide position at FirstChoice Home Health. Once application is submitted, and you are contacted by FirstChoice Home Health, you must be able to provide the following documents to the office:
- Current physical and TB
- HHA Certificate or STNA License
- 2 Forms of ID (ie. Driver's License, SS Card, etc.)
- Current First Aid Certificate/Card
LPN / RN
- CPR Certification
- One year of current work experience as an LPN or RN in a supervised setting (ie. home health agency, nursing home, assisted living, hospice) OR have received your HHA certification within the last 6 months
